Assistant Band Director
I grew up in the Temple/Troy area, graduating from Troy High School in 2009.
I attended Angelo State University for my undergrad where I received my Bachelor of Music with a specialization in flute. Go Rams!
I received my Masters of Music in Music Education from Tarleton State University.
I will be starting my 6th year teaching. My first four years were spent in Reagan County as an assistant band director and elementary music teacher. I came back to the area last fall as the assistant band director in Caldwell, Texas.
I am excited to be part of the Holland ISD family and look forward to helping our students be as successful as possible!

6th grade Band: Weekly Practice Logs will begin soon. They are for one daily grade and require a parent signature. Only minutes outside of class count for the practice log.
IMPORTANT: 6th graders must have their instrument with them before class every morning. They will not be allowed in the middle school before 1st period to get their instrument. Taking their instrument home or in their band locker are the only options.
4th Grade: We will begin recorders soon. If you want to purchase your own student's recorder please feel free to do so. I would recommend Amazon, I purchased mine for 8 dollars through their website. We will be using the Essential Elements Recorder Book 1 as well if you want to purchase that also please feel free to do so.
Welcome to one of the finest School Districts in the State of Texas. Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our school district and the many excellent programs we have available for our students. HISD is a wonderful place to educate a child. This environment is made possible by the tremendous parent and community support for our schools, as well as by a hardworking and dedicated staff.
