News from Holland ISD!
February 5th COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Update

To: Holland ISD Employees and Parents,

Holland ISD students will not have school on Monday February 8, 2021. Monday is a bad weather day and Bell County Fair day on the calendar. Classes will resume on Tuesday February 9th at normal times.

Expectations remain high for all students as we prepare to meet the goals for each class and grade level, just as any other “normal” year. We know the workload for our students and staff remains high, but the building blocks that lead to success require the appropriate time and effort. Our students are hard-working and resilient, we know they can reach the goals in front of them.

Quarantined students and staff numbers seem to be falling, hopefully we will have fewer people sick in the days to come. We continue to work to keep masks on our younger ones, it seems to be helping. Our older students and staff have gotten use to wearing masks.

Spring sports will bring additional changes to how we allow fans to Baseball, Softball and Track events. More information will be coming soon.

Welcome to one of the finest School Districts in the State of Texas. Thank you for taking the time to find out more about our school district and the many excellent programs we have available for our students. HISD is a wonderful place to educate a child. This environment is made possible by the tremendous parent and community support for our schools, as well as by a hardworking and dedicated staff.
