Selection Process and Waiting Period
The process of selecting a new superintendent began in January 2025 and included a survey that allowed the board to receive input from parents, staff, and community members regarding the most desired characteristics of the district’s next leader.
Superintendent Shane Downing will continue to operate as the district leader through June of the current school year. The Holland ISD Board of Trustees is expected to officially hire Mrs. Thomason as its new Superintendent during its April board meeting
