Welcome Hornets!

Hello! My name is Taylor Karl, and I will be teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Reading for the 2024-2025 school year! I am also the middle school One Act Play director and a writing coach for UIL events.

This will be my 9th year teaching at Holland Middle School, and my 10th year teaching overall. I attended Holland ISD from kindergarten through my senior year. After high school, I attended Texas A&M University and earned my degree in History.

I'm ready to challenge my students to enjoy reading, broaden their knowledge, and discover a zest for learning!
