Regular meetings of the HISD School Board are typically held the second Wednesday of every month beginning at 7 p.m. at the Holland ISD Administration Building located at 105 South Rose Lane in Holland, Texas. A written notice of all meetings will be posted at the Administration Building at least 3 business days before the scheduled meeting.

All meetings are open to the public. Under the following circumstances, Texas law permits the board to go into closed session to discuss: prospective gifts or donations, real property acquisition, personnel issues including conferences with employees and employee complaints, security matters, student discipline, or to consult with attorneys.
