Marshall Miles
Mr. Miles – Agriculture Science Teacher
Howdy! My name is Mr. Miles, and I have been teaching agriculture science for 20 years, with the past 13 proudly spent at Holland High School. I am a 2001 graduate of Holland ISD and a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education.
At Holland, I teach Meat Science, Wildlife, and Agriculture Mechanics, and I oversee our Ag Mechanic Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs). I also coach Ag Skills LDE teams and Agriculture Technology & Mechanical Systems CDE teams. In addition, I manage our on-campus Meats Laboratory, where we process domestic hogs, whitetail deer, and exotic species—providing students with valuable, hands-on industry experience.
Outside of school, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and working with horses. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Tiffany, for 19 years, and we have two amazing (and energetic) kids—Kase (13) and Matilla (8).
I’m passionate about helping students develop practical skills, a strong work ethic, and an appreciation for the many opportunities agriculture provides.
